Each year, Rock the Earth partners with artists from every music genre to conduct environmental education and outreach. With a presence at hundreds of concerts and festivals annually, Rock the Earth advocates on behalf of a variety of issues including: protection of public lands and waters, fighting for tighter hydraulic fracturing (fracking) and cruise ship waste regulations, protecting endangered species and advancing safe and clean energy.

Rock the Earth has permanent year-round advocacy teams, all volunteer-led, in the Denver Metro area, Washington D.C./Baltimore, and New York City. Additionally, each summer Rock the Earth sends a team on a national “Summer Tour”, to interface with hundreds of thousands of music fans across the U.S.

The goal of Rock the Earth’s Education and Outreach program is simple: to activate the next generation of environmental stewards.

Since 2004, Rock the Earth has conducted environmental education and fan activation at more than 1,800 concerts and festival and worked with more than 500 different music artists.
