Deb Shufelt is on the Public Relations and Communications committee for Rock the Earth. Currently, she is an independent publicist, social media strategist, and creative advisor to emerging and established actors, musicians and television personalities. She has over 10 years of experience in the entertainment-media field in North America. Throughout her career she has developed and executed independent film productions, PR plans and strategies, and produced television news with great teams of award-winning journalists, directors, A-list actors and rock stars, artists, television personalities, and creative and community-minded people.  She got her start inside the CBS News affiliate, WRGB, as an associate producer in the capital of New York State.  She passionately moved into independent film, working with Sundance Film Festival winners and Academy Award nominees.  From an early age, Deb has always appreciated nature and the environment, growing up on the Hudson River. She enjoys photography, abstract art, French Films, music, and making the world a better place.  Deb Shufelt graduated with a BA in Rhetoric and Communication with a Film Studies minor from the University of Albany.
