Brian Hayle is President of the Board of Directors of Rock the Earth and volunteers on the organization's Legal & Technical Committee. Brian has over 18 years of experience working in the legal profession, with a focus on environmental matters. Brian is currently Managing Counsel at The Clorox Company, where he is responsible for legal advice regarding global Regulatory Compliance matters, global Health, Safety and Environmental matters, environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility issues. Brian is also the business unit attorney for Clorox's home care business. Brian has served several other roles at Clorox, including lead attorney for Burt's Bees, Brita, and the Away From Home business units. Prior to joining Clorox in 2005, Brian was an attorney in the San Francisco law firm of Morrison & Foerster, where he counseled clients regarding a wide variety of environmental and compliance matters, including environmental remediation issues, brownfield redevelopment, land use approvals, real property transfers and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Morrison & Foerster in 1999, Brian was an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where his practice focused on environmental compliance and litigation matters. Brian received his J.D. in 1994 from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C. Brian is a member of The State Bar of California, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
