![]() Senior VP Marketing AEG Live/Concerts West Amy Morrison has over 25 years of experience in the concert promotion and touring industry. She started her career with Fey Concerts’ club division in Denver, working in all facets of production, promotion and marketing. In 1990, Morrison moved to New York, where she worked as a production assistant on two televised award shows as well as M.C. Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This” 1990 Summer U.S. Tour. She then joined Grey Entertainment, a subsidiary of Grey Advertising, where she oversaw the marketing for more than 300 live events annually for Delsener/Slater Enterprises. In 1997, Morrison moved to Los Angeles, where she managed marketing for tours including: Neil Diamond, Yanni, the H.O.R.D.E. Festival, Mariah Carey, Blink 182 and others. In 1998, she joined Concerts West, which became part of AEG Live in 2000. Morrison is now responsible for all tour and event marketing at AEG Live. During her tenure, the company has grown to be the 2nd largest concert promoter in the world. Recent projects include tours from: Bon Jovi, Prince, Michael Jackson, Dancing with the Stars, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Leonard Cohen. Morrison is currently overseeing worldwide marketing operations for the 2010 Black Eyed Peas tour and is preparing to announce an innovative, grassroots driven, recycling campaign. As the liaison with AEG’s corporate sustainability group, Morrison helps execute and facilitate the artists’ vision for sustainable, green-friendly tour initiatives. |
