April was a busy month at Rock the Earth!  We held the second annual Dine Out for Earth fundraiser in California, selected the winner of the “Rock the Earth Day Sustainability Challenge” (held in conjunction with Denver Public Schools), and completed a cleanup of the Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey. Additionally, the Mimi Fishman Foundation dedicated their auction sales to Rock the Earth in honor of Earth Day for the 13th year in a row. On Earth Day Rock the Earth announced the winners of this year’s Planet Defender Awards. Finally, we are planning our Summer Tour, which begins in late May. If you plan to be at Summer Camp, Bonnaroo, or Merryland Music Festival, come say hello!
