July marks the halfway mark of the year, but we’re really still just getting started with some of our major environmental education & activation work. In this issue, we update you on our Summer Education & Outreach tour, in which we joined forces with the Wheels of Soul Summer Tour by the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Sharon Jones & the Dapkings. We’ll also update you on the latest work to restore California’s storied Hetch Hetchy Valley, as well as our continuing work on the Continental Divide Campaign in Colorado. If you’re looking to hear about our work at the storied Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well shows, you can read about it in this issue, as well as preview our work with the 2015 Arise Music Festival. In our monthly Key of Green segment, we give you some tips to staying busy (and green) with the kiddos this summer. Finally, as always, we highlight our rock star volunteers and renew our commitment to protecting Colorado’s Roan Plateau.
We have some HUGE news to announce about our next big touring partner (hint: they are the biggest band in America right now!), so always stay tuned to our website, Facebook and Twitter for the latest and most up-to-date news!
