As Earth Day approaches, we are excited to report that several elementary schools have submitted proposals for our “Rock the Earth Day” sustainability challenge being held in conjunction with Denver Public Schools.
Namaste Solar (CO) has generously signed on as a sponsor of the event, along with Denver Public Schools, Little Man Ice Cream, and Chipotle. The winning school receives these spoils: $1,500 to implement their sustainability project, ice cream scoops for students and staff, and a burrito voucher for every student!
Better still, the winning school will also get a live music performance by Brent Cowles. Courtesy of 7S Management, a boutique artist management company based in Denver, Brent Cowles will perform at the winning school on Earth Day (April 22).
We can’t wait to see the ways in which Denver’s young minds will work to create a more sustainable community for all!
