The goal of Rock the Earth is simple: to activate the next generation of environmental stewards.

Each year, Rock the Earth partners with artists from every music genre to conduct environmental education and outreach. With a presence at hundreds of concerts and festivals over the years, Rock the Earth advocates on behalf of a variety of issues including: protection of public lands and waters, protecting endangered species, mobilizing and engaging young people in the civic process, and fighting climate change by advancing safe and clean energy.

Since 2004, under Marc Ross’ tremendous leadership, Rock the Earth conducted environmental education and fan activation at more than 1,800 concerts and festival and worked with more than 500 different music artists. In the coming months Rock the Earth will activate its network to educate and mobilize people across the country in the fight to protect our environment.

Rock the Earth has permanent year-round advocacy teams based in Washington D.C. and can be found at festivals and concerts across the country to interface with hundreds of thousands of music fans across the U.S. For upcoming festivals check our tour dates.
