Over the past decade, national environmental advocacy organization Rock the Earth has been expanding our education & outreach presence throughout the United States. On December 4, Rock the Earth plants its flag in the name of environmental protection in Southern California.
Rock the Earth maintains year-round environmental activation teams in the Chicago, Denver, Washington, DC, Baltimore, and New York City metropolitan areas. Supplemented by a nationally-touring team in the summer months, Rock the Earth volunteers educate and activate tens of thousands of concert goers at over 200 concerts throughout the United States each year. Since 2004, the organization has partnered with over 500 bands at over 1,700 concerts and festivals.
On Friday, December 4, the Aratani Theatre launches the “Acoustic at the Aratani” series with world-renowned pianist, composer and environmental activist Keiko Matsui, debuting a brand-new musical presentation for the first time in the United States. More information on the concert and series can be found here: jaccc.org/keikomatsui.
For this kick-off of our year-round operations in SoCal, we are giving our supporters a fun way to give back to our organization:
Use the code “rocktheearth” when you purchase orchestra seats and $5 of each ticket purchased will be donated to Rock The Earth. NOTE: This offer is only valid for orchestra seating.
We hope you are able to take advantage of this unique opportunity to enjoy a world-class concert and also support our organization.
In the coming months, Rock the Earth will be stepping up our presence at concerts throughout Southern California. For our latest Tour Dates, GO HERE. If you are interested in volunteering with Rock the Earth in SoCal, please write to us at volunteer@rocktheearth.org.
Together, we can ROCK Southern California and protect the environment!
