For years, Rock the Earth has been educating and activating the public on the highly-industrial, natural-gas drilling process known as hydraulic fracturing, otherwise known as “fracking.” This month, we are proud to announce a new partnership with Movement Music Records on their release of Buy This Fracking Album (BTFA). Created to bring both awareness and financial support to the anti-fracking movement, BTFA is a two-CD set featuring 24 tracks that include many of Rock the Earth’s friends and supporters, such as Michael Franti, Rusted Root, John Butler Trio, Bonnie Raitt, and Indigo Girls. Other tracks include performances by Rootz Underground, Anti-Flag, Pete Seeger, Natalie Merchant and others.
