Rock the Earth will partner with Denver Public Schools to host the Rock the Earth Day Challenge, a competition between Denver’s 141 elementary schools for the most innovative sustainability project. Proposals are due April 8, with winners announced just before Earth Day. Any combination of classes, students and/or members of school green teams are eligible to participate. On Earth Day, Rock the Earth will recognize winning project with a small cash prize and ice cream from Little Man Ice Cream.The winning project will receive a small cash prize to help implement their project, ice cream donated by Little Man Ice Cream, and a small number of environmental exhibits. If that wasn’t enough, Chipotle will be giving a voucher for a free burrito to every student of the winning school!
